I share a little bit on FB about drawing called Nude Monday. Anyway, I thought I'd share more here about the process. If you do want to be FB friends, my name is Paula Elizabeth Graves (Tucson).
Okay, here we go...It's really just pics so be patient with any verbal.

This process never really worked well for me, the using of geometric forms. I did once use it for a mural of horses on the walls in my daughter's bedroom where the horizon outside lined up approx at eye level (mine! pretty short) or at least at 5' (picture hanging) eye level so the horizon surrounded the room. Anyway, then I used circles to do the horses body and it worked (from some kind of book).

I can't seem to upload too many at a time, but I think these are a few different models. Anyway, sometimes I just leave stuff out.

These are the fast ones, quick and dirty that I like the best because it forces me to look at gestures and poses...more like lines and angles type of geometry, vectors I guess a mathematician like my deceased uncle David would say.

This is a finished one that I don't hate, but I really have a fear of (drawing) shadows as much as I like them in real life. I'll show you this painting I did of Lace's dog Murphy later, but I think I almost wrecked it.

I like the hand in this one. I can't remember if he had a ball or what (if anything). But, when I was drawing it I was reminded of the discus throwers in Art History Class. Or maybe they were shot-putters I know at SMEast and South, really can't remember.

And frankly, if you are too well endowed you aren't going to get anything from me. Jus' sayin' big is not better in this type of situation.

Let's just keep it at, 'you are not seeing what you think you are seeing.' I think I forgot to erase a line on his upper left thigh.
That's it! Have a good weekend and week! P.
